Aimee Martuccio Whitsell, Esq.

Albuquerque, NM

My name is Aimee Martuccio Whitsell and I am an attorney with Parnall Law Firm. I come from a big Italian family and was raised in Western Pennsylvania with my four sisters. My dad continued the paving company his dad started after immigrating to the United States, and he was able to put all of his daughters through college.

I graduated from Westminster College cum laude with a double major in Philosophy and History in 2001. For some reason, I have been fascinated by the history of the “Old West” since childhood…especially Billy the Kid. As a self-proclaimed Billy the Kid aficionado, I eagerly moved to New Mexico for law school in 2004. While in law school, I served as an officer for the Veteran’s Association, completed an internship with the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office and worked in the Southwest Indian Law Clinic.

After graduation from law school in 2004, I started my career as a Children’s Court prosecutor for the Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney for three years. While a prosecutor, I obtained valuable trial experience, including lead chair in jury trials of high-profile felonies.

I began my civil law practice in 2008 with a focus in medical malpractice defense, and I also worked for a large national medical malpractice insurance company. In 2017, I changed my path and now I represent individuals injured by negligence. I have now been on almost every side of a case – defense attorney, insurance representative, and now plaintiff advocate. I use my unique background and skills to even the playing field for individuals battling for their rights against big corporations and insurance companies. I have insight into the motives behind opposing counsel’s strategies and can anticipate their arguments and tactics.

My family has always been my greatest joy and motivator. Parnall Law is like my second home. We have the values, compassion and skills necessary to truly help our community. I am proud of the work we do every day.

“All of my clients’ cases are important, big or small. We can’t undo the injury or trauma they have gone through, but we can help them get back on their feet and obtain a sense of justice. Helping clients obtain just compensation is the best and only form of justice when they are wrongly harmed by another’s negligence.”
