PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

Ms. Seymore has a passion for utilizing new technology, especially as a means to advance the practice of law and trial advocacy. She managed and coordinated the technological components of the first Zoom jury trial conducted in North Florida that resulted in a verdict of over $411 million and she consults regularly on technology applications for the courtroom.

Ms. Seymore started her practice in defense of medical malpractice, nursing home, and personal injury claims, but now proudly represents injured people and consumers in their fight for justice. She focuses her current litigation practice in the area of medical/nursing home negligence claims, but has experience in civil rights, products liability, automobile negligence, and complex personal injury matters. Ms. Seymore is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She is a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Seymore is also an active member of the American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association (Eagle Member), the Capital City Justice Association, Tallahassee Women Lawyers (serving on the board), Orange County Bar Association, Society of Women Trial Lawyers, Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, UF Law Alumni Council, and FSU World Affairs Program Alumni Council. She is an adjunct professor at UF Law for Pretrial Practice and Trial Team Coach helping students compete in mock trial competitions across the country both virtually and in person. She has recently been named a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers.

BACKGROUND

Ms. Seymore grew up in Pennsylvania and Florida, but she speaks fluent Italian after many years of living in Florence, Italy. Jennifer has competed in various debate, mock trial, moot court, model UN, and forensics competitions since she was in elementary school. Ms. Seymore graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with her juris doctorate and cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s in History and minors in Psychology, Italian Studies, and Political Science. In law school, she was President of the UF Law Trial Team, Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a member of Jessup Moot Court, President of the Association of Public Interest Law, and was an executive board member of eleven organizations. Ms. Seymore is driven to contribute to her community and gives back to charities throughout the state of Florida. She and her husband enjoy strategy games, escape rooms, and playing cards. Jennifer loves to travel with her friends and family and she loves a challenge.
