John and Nancy Romano, plus our Connectionology® Team welcome you back for another great webinar!

Register today for “Biomechanics and Brain Injury Mechanisms” featuring Dr. David J. Barczyk – a Chiropractic Physician, Biomechanist and ACTAR Accident Reconstructionist with Barczyk Biomechanics Institute located in Lafayette, LA! Watch this incredible discussion live on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 3:00pm-4:30pm EST – Eastern Standard Time.

Dr. Barczyk’s presentation explains how forces from collisions, and other traumatic events can cause brain injury. He will review the biomechanical principles of concussion and traumatic brain injury, the relationship between injury mechanisms and clinical findings. The presentation will show details on how linear and rotational forces can cause brain tissue deformation, concussion, diffuse axonal injury, and other neurological impairments, even when external signs of injury are limited. Dr. Barczyk will also explain how biomechanical evidence can assist in evaluating causation and injury claims in litigation.

Dr. Barczyk is a New Jersey native and has a B.S. degree in liberal arts from the University of the State of New York. He earned his doctorate degree in chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, GA in 1994. He has extensive post-graduate training in biomechanics, occupant kinematics, and accident reconstruction (over 500 hours). This includes participating in crash testing through the Center for Research in Automotive Safety and Health (CRASH) and Texas A&M University Engineering Department. He has observed and participated in over 50 crash tests with human volunteers. He has also hosted his own crash conferences in 2016 and 2022, which were co-sponsored by Louisiana State Police. He is an ACTAR Certified Traffic Accident Reconstructionist (ACTAR#3183). Dr. Barczyk also is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist with over 350 hours of post-doctoral study in developmental and functional neurology. This also required passing two separate board exams. Dr. Barczyk has been qualified to testify as an expert in motor vehicle crash biomechanics, accident reconstruction and neurology. He lectures regularly to legal, judicial, physician, and law enforcement groups on the subjects of biomechanics, accident reconstruction and the mechanisms of brain injury.
