Beverly is a trauma ICU/OR nurse by trade. She was in hospital administration for 20+ years overseeing nursing with special attention on trauma ICU and ER.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s she helped one of the largest hospital systems create their Home Health infusion programs pioneering protocols in Florida for the allowance of intravenous infusions to be administered at home. Her early protocols were quickly adopted by AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) and are still in use today.

Beverly entered the legal profession in 1998 as an expert witness. Quickly, she instinctively began working with attorneys on framing their cases and utilizing compelling strategies in their depositions, mediations, jury selection, and courtroom presentations.

Beverly has been bringing a unique perspective to trial/jury consulting as well as legal nurse consulting for 20+ years. With 2 decades of hospital and home care administration under her belt, she brings unprecedented ability to assess, clients, attorneys, witnesses, and judges/jurors in the courtroom.

Speaking on trial presentation is her passion. She has had the pleasure of presenting to attorneys, nurses, paralegals, and trial consultants on state and national levels. Beverly’ mediation and courtroom presentations have been associated with many multi-million-dollar settlements and verdicts.

Recently, one of Beverly’s 350+ mediation presentations resulted in her third eight-figure settlement. PASSION!

Beverly is married to Catfish Abbott with whom she had her first dance in the courtroom 13 years ago. She has two sons, Tyler and Ian.

What most people don’t know about Beverly…she went to the 1976 Olympic Trials in Swimming, forever earning the name she is most referred to today…SPLASH.
