Brent Barton lives in Portland, Oregon, where he represents people who suffered catastrophic injuries. Brent and his wife experienced a difficult pregnancy with their second child, and he has specialized in birth injury cases ever since.

Brent grew up in a small town in Oregon and later graduated from Stanford University, Cambridge University, and Harvard Law School. He served three terms in the Oregon House of Representatives before retiring to focus on law.
