Georgia A. Kent, CP

Georgia Kent is Senior Litigation Paralegal at Douglas R. Beam, P.A., where she works on an active caseload in a wide range of personal injury case types: traumatic brain injuries, wrongful deaths, trucking, premises liability, civil rights, negligent security, and more.

After graduating high school and spending some time at Mississippi State University in the field of computer engineering, Ms. Kent moved to sunny southern Florida and found her passion in the legal field. She received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Palm Beach State University and went on to become an Honors graduate of the Florida Atlantic University Paralegal Studies Program and as a Microsoft Office Master Instructor.

During her 25 plus years in the legal field, Ms. Kent has gained experience as both a plaintiff paralegal and defense paralegal though her work at such prominent firms as Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley and Butler Pappas Weihmuller Katz Craig. This dual background offers Ms. Kent well-rounded perspective and creative thinking when it comes to management of her files and working with clients.

Ms. Kent has spent decades serving the legal community and helping people who have suffered injuries from serious automobile accidents, catastrophic pedestrian incidents, defective products, and medical negligence. In her off time, Ms. Kent devotes her time to her family and mentoring to those affected by alcohol, drug and food addiction.
