Patrick A. Salvi II

Patrick A. Salvi II joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., in 2007 and was named Managing Partner of the Chicago office in 2017. He concentrates his legal practice on cases concerning personal injury, medical malpractice, mass torts, and product liability.

Mr. Salvi has obtained many record-breaking jury verdicts on behalf of his clients, including a $148 million jury verdict for a paralyzed 24-year-old female and a $50.3 million jury verdict for a boy who suffered a serious brain injury at birth.

Mr. Salvi has also successfully obtained a number of multi-million-dollar settlements, including $20.6 million for a man left paralyzed after a delay in the diagnosis and treatment of a ruptured aneurysm, $19.5 million for a war veteran who suffered a crush injury to his foot, and $19.5 million for a man brain damaged after a failed routine trach exchange.

In recognition for his outstanding legal work, Mr. Salvi has been named to the Illinois Super Lawyers List since 2014. In 2019, he was recognized as a Leading Lawyer by Law Bulletin Media, a distinction given to less than five percent of all lawyers licensed to practice in Illinois. Prior to that, he was recognized as an Emerging Lawyer by Law Bulletin Media (a list of the top 2 percent of lawyers in Illinois who are under 40 years old or have practiced 10 years or less) and ranked in the Top 10 for all Emerging Lawyers, regardless of practice specialty. Every year since 2017, he has been listed in Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America, an elite guide in the legal profession. Mr. Salvi was also recognized in the 2019 and 2020 Editions of Best Lawyers in America in the field of Personal Injury Litigation.

Mr. Salvi is a member of the American Association for Justice, where he sits on the Board of Governors and the AAJ PAC Board of Trustees. He is also an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, where he sits on the executive committee, is a co-chair of the publications committee, and a co-author of the Medical Malpractice Trial Notebook chapter on Informed Consent. He has been a judge at ABA and AAJ trial competitions, as well as ABA Moot Court competitions. In addition, Mr. Salvi holds memberships in the Lake County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association, where he is a member of the Tort Law Committee.

Mr. Salvi is a board member of Legal Aid Chicago, an organization that provides free legal services to people living in poverty. He formerly served as a board chair and continues to support St. Agnes of Bohemia Elementary on the southwest side of Chicago. Mr. Salvi has also been a speaker at Kellogg’s School of Management’s MBA business law class and at Notre Dame Law School’s “Personal Injury Litigation” class.
