Thomas D. Graham has recovered millions for his clients and their families. He is known for taking on challenging and unique cases and getting results for those who need it most. He has a special background with admiralty and maritime cases, including the representation of injured passengers, crew members, and maritime workers sailing from Florida’s shores and internationally. Tom is highly experienced in maritime medical malpractice cases where sick and injured individuals are not adequately diagnosed, treated, or evacuated from cruise ships and other vessels traveling around the world. He has handled legal proceedings in Europe and Asia, and regularly represents injured foreign crewmembers in international arbitrations. Tom’s tenacious representation and legal skill has created beneficial developments in the field of maritime law for injured cruise passengers and maritime crew.Tom routinely represents individuals who are injured or die because of inadequate medical care, treatment, and missed diagnosis at land-based hospitals and healthcare treatment centers located in Florida and throughout the United States.

He has successfully handled multiple cases involving the wrongful administration of medication resulting in death, as well as cases involving the wrongful or negligent discharge of individuals from substance abuse treatment centers. Tom has a wide range of experience in products liability matters, including cases involving defective bicycles, windows, and electrical components. Within the last few years alone Tom has recovered many millions for his clients injured in automobile, trucking, and commercial vehicle collisions, and against automobile repair shops for negligent repairs and the negligent installation of tires.

Before founding Mausner Graham Injury Law, Tom had the opportunity to try civil cases in nearly
every Florida Circuit Court. He began his career as a prosecutor with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he was responsible for the prosecution of felony criminal cases. It was at the prosecutor’s office that Tom and Eric met, and they have handled cases together ever since. During his service as a prosecutor, Tom tried over 25 jury trials, over 100 bench trials, and served as the Assistant Chief of County Court.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tom is licensed to practice law in Florida and Pennsylvania. He was honored to receive a top score on the February 2011 Florida Bar Exam. Tom is very passionate about serving and advancing the profession, and holds leadership positions in local, state, and national bar organizations. He regularly writes and lectures on personal injury and maritime law.
