Our Connectionology® Team welcomes you back for another great webinar!

Register today for “The Psychology of Pain in Personal Injury Litigation” featuring Florida Trial Lawyer, Angela Trawick, Esq. with Ketterer, Browne & Associates, LLC and our wonderful moderator, John Romano, Esq. with the Romano Law Group on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 3:00pm-5:00pm ET – Eastern Time.

In this discussion, you will learn about how pain is not merely a physical symptom—it is a complex, multidimensional experience that can disrupt every aspect of a person’s life. It diminishes functional ability, strains social connections, and contributes to emotional and psychological distress. These effects often interact in a reinforcing cycle, magnifying the client’s suffering and complicating their recovery. In litigation, this presents a critical challenge: pain-related damages are substantial, but they are frequently invisible, subjective, and vulnerable to doubt.

This presentation is designed to help plaintiff attorneys become both fluent in the science of pain and effective in conveying its lived impact. We will examine how pain is processed by both the brain and mind, how it alters behavior and identity, and how to compellingly document and present its effects in the courtroom. From medical and psychological evidence to witness preparation and trial strategy, you will gain practical tools to validate your client’s experience, overcome defense tactics, and advocate for the full measure of damages your client deserves.

Angela’s unique background in both mental health and law gives her a distinct advantage in advocating for clients affected by trauma, injury, and complex legal issues. She holds a Juris Doctorate, a Master’s in Psychology, and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Her mental health career includes treating adolescents in secure psychiatric care, maintaining a private practice, working at a neuropsychiatric center, serving military personnel and families nationwide, and deploying to Haiti as a Mental Health Specialist after the 2010 earthquake.

Angela is licensed to practice law in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. She began her legal career in Corporate Compliance before transitioning to insurance defense and now focuses on mass tort and personal injury litigation.

She specializes in strategic testimonial development, advanced witness preparation, and managing vulnerable clients with empathy and precision. Her expertise in jury selection and trial observation is rooted in behavioral insight, enabling her to align legal strategy with juror psychology. Angela integrates mental health and trauma evidence into compelling litigation narratives that humanize complex injuries and resonate with juries.
